    Just be careful with any wet garbage. They do compost relatively fast once they get wet.

    Great way to reduce plastic!

    I knew about plant polymers for years before I saw these bags and I was so happy that I could finally get an alternative to petroleum based plastic products! I have found that you can’t dump kitty litter in it and expect it to hold up for a week before garbage day, but I found other ways to solve that one. In my building we are required to put our garbage in plastic bags and so I am really happy to have these bags. When I have something really stinky that the dog will want to pull out of the garbage I use the smaller bags and leave that in the fridge until I’m going to take the big bag to the trash. I’m very happy with how well they hold up.
