    Feel good kitchen 13 gallon bags!

    I've been using these for awhile now. I do love them but they are not super strong so be careful of what you throw away in them. Things that are pointy will puncture the bag. The drawstring is very strong though! Be careful when tearing a new bag from the roll. As you get to the portion that is the bottom of the bag while tearing it from the roll, it can stretch and thin out. I've just learned to tear it the opposite way first. I put flowers and box items in last when I'm ready to take the garbage out. Our apartment building has a trash chute and sometimes the bag will tear as I push it down because of size again metal. Since other people just throw garbage down there without a bag, I don't feel so bad but I do my best not to create a mess. Personally I don't have much garbage to take out often so the bags last a long time for me. When I am ready to take the garbage out, that's when I put food or food boxes, flowers, etc. in the top of the bag and take it out. If you want those heavy duty glad bags, this is not it but if you know what you are getting and want to do better for the environment then this is a wonderful option. We use too much plastic and this is one way to make a small difference. One step at a time, we can all make a dent.

    Permanent switch

    Not super stretchy or strong but we have adjusted and find the minor drawback compared to heavy duty plastic is worth it for the huge environmental benefits.
